Pot Roasted Chicken


I am sure many of you would agree that a roasted chicken is a firm familiar family favourite.

There is no meal as delicious as a roasted chicken but for me pot roasting a chicken adds another dimension to this old classic. 


Ingredients:

1  whole Chicken

1  Red Dried Chilli

4  Fresh Garlic Cloves

2t Aromat

1t White Pepper

1t Salt

2t Smoked Paprika

¼C  Lemon Juice

1C   Water

1pkt Tomato Paste (50g)


1. Rinse the Chicken.

2. Add the other ingredients into a jug and mix it together.

3. Put the Whole Chicken into a pot, pour over the mixture and cook it on medium heat for 45 minutes. Turn the chicken onto the other side after 25 minutes.

4. Put the oven onto Grill.

5. Pour out the liquid into a smaller pot, add 1t Corn Starch or Flour. Stir and mix it until the gravy has thickened.

6. Grill the Chicken for another 10 minutes on each side.

Viola! A soft, juicy, moist, flavourful delish chicken dinner…
