Greek Fried Haloumi Sticks

When you are not exactly sure, what it is that you are craving.


This is it!

Crispy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside.


Ingredients:

250g Haloumi Cheese

          Oil


1. Slice the Haloumi Cheese into 1.5cm slices.

2. Cover the bottom of a pan with Oil and heat it to medium heat.

3. Place the Haloumi slices into the pan and fry on all 6 sides, until it is golden brown.

Tip: Do not be tempted to fry all the pieces at the same time. 2 to 3 pieces are ideal. It is easier to turn and crisp them on all 6 sides, use both an egg lifter and a kitchen thongs to do this job.

4. Serve it warm.

Dip the crispy Haloumi Sticks into some Sweet Chilli Sauce for the perfect sweet and salty bite.
