Creamy Chocolate Caramel Mousse


If you are a fan of chocolate or crazy about caramel, this dessert is for you.

This is my version of the famous “Death by Chocolate” mousse.

You are going to love this fuss free, flop proof recipe.


Ingredients: Makes 8

1 pkt   Oreo Cookies (130g)

250ml  Fresh Cream

¾ can   Caramel Treat (260g)

2T         Cocoa Powder

 

Tip: You can use any filled Chocolate Cookie or Biscuit, such as Romany Creams, Choc Kits or Bakers Vanilla Creams 


1. Crush the Chocolate Cookies into small crumbs.

2. Whip the Fresh Cream until it is light and fluffy.

3. Warm the Caramel Treat in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds. This will soften it to a smoother consistency. Stir it through.

4. Add all the ingredients into a bowl and fold it gently, until it forms a smooth and creamy mixture.

5. Spoon the mixture into small glasses, cups or bowls. Fill it ¾ full.

6. Refrigerate them for a few hours until they are set or leave them  overnight.

7. Serve it with a dollop of whipped Fresh Cream or if you are brave, have it as is.

This dessert is not for the faint hearted. It is not only a Chocolate Mousse. It is the best Chocolate Caramel Mousse you will ever taste.
