Asian Rice Wraps

Rice Wraps are super healthy snacks, which are enjoyed daily all over Asia.

They look impressive, taste absolutely amazing and they are surprisingly easy to make.

There are so many different fillings and dipping sauces to choose from.

You will always have a different flavour experience because the combinations are endless.

Ingredients:

Rice Paper Wrappers (Dried)
Water

Filling Choices:

Vegetables: Avocados, Carrots, Cucumbers, Green, Red & Yellow Peppers, Purple Cabbage, Bean Sprouts, Fresh Coriander Leaves

Tofu, Haloumi Cheese, Potatoes, Shrimps, etc.

Dipping Sauce:

Sweet Chilli Sauce

Lemon Juice

1. Wash and cut all the vegetables into small, thin bite size strips and slices.

2. Fry and cook any warm fillings like Tofu, Haloumi, Potatoes, Shrimps, etc. Allow these to cool before you fill the rice wraps.

3. Fill a round cake pan halfway with lukewarm water.

4. Place a dried Rice Paper Wrapper inside and soak for a few seconds.

5. Remove from water and place onto a plate or wooden board.

6. Lay a soft Rice Wrapper onto a board or plate.

7. Place your fillings neatly onto the Rice Wrapper.

8. Fold, fold & fold. Use my photo illustration, step 1 to 8, as a guide.

9. Mix equal parts of Sweet Chilli Sauce and Lemon Juice together in a bowl. Adjust the flavour to your taste.

Lotsa Love
